About Dr. Natasha Mehta

  • Dr. Mehta received a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition from the Ohio State University. She graduated with a medical doctorate (MD) from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She completed residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R or “Physiatry”) at Rutgers-NJMS/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and practiced in Rochester, NY for a couple of years before returning to complete a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at the University of Washington. In an effort to learn more about how lifestyle factors into health, she completed a certification in Lifestyle Medicine through the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. She has continued her medical education by completing courses such as the McGill Method levels 1-3 and in hands-on interventional ultrasound. She now practices in Columbus, OH.

  • Dr. Mehta works with people who have had a brain injury, stroke, spine injury, nerve injury, or joint injury to help them optimize their ability and enhance their quality of life. She collaborates on a team with surgeons, neurologists, sports medicine doctors, pain doctors, primary care doctors, therapists, and case managers to help people reach their goals and navigate the healthcare system.

    On social media, she is aiming to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and fitness as well as educate about the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
